THE IGA 

To us, research means very little if academics are silent during times of injustice and removed from the broader communities they exist within. It is our philosophy that academic interests should gear toward common goals and applied interests that benefit the community through accessible education, applied research, service, and engagement. The Interdisciplinary Graduate Alliance believes that, regardless of our respective disciplines, we all have something to learn from one another and the networks we each exist within. Through creative discussion, adoption of integrative cross-disciplinary perspectives, and community-building, the IGA believes we can become more mindful community members, as well as more compassionate and rigorous researchers.
